Rahul Gandhi tweets to indicate his participation in the Parliament
After rounds of information regarding the Rahul Gandhi’s position in the Congress party, he was missing in the oath-taking ceremony of the 17th Lok Sabha. Upon being questioned by Ramdas Athawale, the Congress members said that Rahul Gandhi would be coming. Though he did not turn up for the ceremony, Rahul Gandhi took to Twitter to announce that he would be taking his oath as a Parliament member and that he would represent the Wayanad constituency. Earlier, Congress leader Veerappa Moily asserted that Rahul Gandhi would be continuing as the party President despite Gandhi’s insistence on quitting.
