Salman Khan gets away from fake affidavit charges
Two application had been filed against Salman Khan stating that he had presented false affidavits in court pertaining to his possession of weapons in the 1998 blackbuck poaching case. The applications claimed that original documents had not been submitted as Salman Khan claimed that they had been lost. Salman Khan’s lawyer said that the Jodhpur court acquitted Salman Khan because they knew he had not lost the documents intentionally but they had been misplaced when they were sent for renewal. In India, celebrities and influential people get away easily even if their actions are not completely compliant to the norms. However, the common people are expected to have all documents and present no excuses even for the aged or the illiterate who have a hard time figuring out procedures.
