Rahul Gandhi says he will not be involved in the decision-making process of Congress President
Current Congress President Rahul Gandhi has been continuously asserting his desire to discontinue as the party President. The Congress party does not comply with his wish and wants Rahul Gandhi to continue. After Congress’ terrible defeat twice in a row, Rahul Gandhi said that he takes the entire responsibility for the loss. He said that therefore would step down from his post. Gandhi also added that he would not get involved in the process to choose the new party President and has also said that he does wish for any member of the Gandhi family to take that positions. Critics have always said that Congress’ dynastic traditions were the cause for its recent failures which seems to have struck Rahul Gandhi too.
