Devendra Fadnavis says action will be taken against trolls
Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis addressed the issue of threats received by Congress spokesperson Sachin Sawant on Twitter. Sawant said that he had tweeted a sarcastic comment which did not go down well with BJP supporters who in turn posted threatening messages to his life and his family. Fadnavis has said that strict action will be taken against those who attempt to create an atmosphere of terror. He has directed Maharashtra’s Cyber Crime Cell to identify, trace and take action against the trolls. There has been a rise in cyber crime with easy access to the internet. Cyber security is an issue that must be looked into and strengthened all across the nation.
