Air India Considered For Strategic Disinvestment By Government of India
In the meeting of Air India Specific Alternative Mechanism held on 28th March, decision was taken to disinvestment on Air India due to increase in volatile crude oil and an adverse fluctuations in exchange rates. Five more subsidiaries are included in disinvestment by Government of India, Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs.
Ministry stated that support from Government of India has improved the operative and financial performance of Air India.
