Man refused to have food delivered by a non-Hindu via Zomato
Zomato recently exposed a bigot who refused to accept his food delivery by a Muslim delivery boy. The man wanted to cancel his order and obtain a refund which was denied to him by Zomato. Several people on Twitter have said that religion is not the only aspect of identity and it should not be the only criteria to judge a person. The man complained that he did not want his food to be delivered by a non-Hindu. The issue here does not pertain to Hindu or Muslim but to a larger problem where people define their entire existence based on religion. A further probe into the man’s twitter profile shows he is also sexist and racist. Many Hindus have also rightly condemned his act.
