SCORES OF CHILDREN BORN WITH DEFORMITIES IN GOVINDSAR, J&K

Govindsar, an industrial hub in Jammu has for 15 to 16 years reports of the children born with various deformities. Now medical authorities have launched a campaign to conduct medical examination of all the affected children to understand the root cause for the problems. Sadly, children have been born handicapped, are mentally retarded and also with multiple problems of liver, pancreas, kidneys etc.
