Bharat Biotech Limited today clarified that Covaxin is highly purified and contains only the inactive virus components. The company has issued the clarification over the use of new-born calf serum in the vaccine, the company has issued the clarification. The Hyderabad-based vaccine manufacturer responded to some social media posts regarding composition of Covaxin and that it contains newborn calf serum.
