2 CHILD NORMS SHOULD BE REQUIRED FOR ALL COMMUNITIES
Shri Giriraj Singh, Member of Parliament (from Bihar) recently said that families of every community should be required to limit to 2 child per family. So why is that comment viewed and reported as controversial? In addition to population control leading to a healthier population, his comment should be viewed as a way to protect and preserve the social dynamics of villages, towns and districts. If the religious balance goes haywire, it could cause several problems as is being reported in some areas of West Bengal (Malda and other border districts), or Assam or Kerala.
