In remembrance and in honour of this great spiritual stalwart, who had introduced a novel concept of peace and humanity through Hindu philosophy at the world conference in Chicago on September 11, 1893, a social organisation, Vayam Sanstha, has organised a Maharudra Abhishek on the 11th September. This day has also been chosen keeping in mind the deadliest terror attack on Amercian soil – the 9/11 that took the lives of almost 3000 people.
