Is Bollywood For India Or Against India?
18 soldiers in the Uri terrorist attacks and hundreds before have laid their lives for the country. As the soldiers are the main earning members, these hundreds of families lives have been shattered. Very few in Bollywood have found time to express sorrow for these sacrifices, let alone visit these families or donate some of their profits. But the loud and widespread chorus for the ban on Pakistani artists such as Fawad Khan, or Mahira Khan, or Mowra Hocane or Rahat Fateh Ali Khan seems to be too much to bear for a few of our “Indian” and well known Bollywood artists including Mahesh Bhatt, Karan Johar, Salman Khan or Kareena Kapoor Khan. It seems a tweet in support of the Pakistani artists is a must do… Of course expecting our Paki “guests” to condemn such terror attacks in the country where they came to make money (in India) is asking for too much?
