Haryana CM ML Khattar has increased the salary of Imams by 50 per cent with immediate effect. 800 Imams and Maulvis across the state will draw salaries of rupees 14000 to 16000 every month following the hike. The step comes in the wake of the Khattar government promising an annual increment of 5 per cent.
