On Thursday (19 October), the Karnataka High Court handed down a verdict dismissing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar’s petition to quash the CBI’s investigation into his alleged disproportionate assets. The decision was delivered by Justice K Natarajan, who had been presiding over the case.
