10,675 Illegal Intruders Detected In Manipur In Last 5 Years; Most Of Them Are From Myanmar: CM Singh
Imphal: In the last five years, over 10,000 illegal immigrants have been detected in Manipur, according to information released by Chief Minister N Biren Singh. This was said in answer to a question posed by Congress MLA Okram Surjakumar Singh during the 6th session of the 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly. CM Biren Singh made this statement in response to an MLA’s query. The CM also informed the house that throughout the previous five years, 10,675 illegal immigrants from Bangladesh, China, Myanmar, Norway, and Nepal had been identified.
