India must conduct massive deportation drives in the Chicken’s Neck region (Siliguri Corridor). In times of conflict or crisis, illegal Bangladeshi settlements in the Chicken’s Neck will support Bangladesh, not India. It is the only overland link connecting the rest of India to the Northeastern region.
National security in sensitive regions like the Siliguri Corridor is undoubtedly important. However, any action must strictly follow due process, verified identification, and constitutional safeguards. Security concerns should be addressed through intelligence, border management, and lawful procedures — not broad assumptions about communities.
