Kerala Jesuit Priest Identified As Mastermind Behind Delhi’s CJP Unrest
A Kerala Jesuit priest named George Mutholil has been identified as the key strategist behind the current protests and unrest in New Delhi, according to a PGurus article. The demonstrations, organized by the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP), demanded the resignation of Union Human Resource Development Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
Although the agitation is publicly framed around opposition to the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for medical and dental college admissions, the deeper motive attributed to Mutholil is resistance to the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (Amendment) Bill of 2026, which seeks to tighten controls on foreign donations to religious bodies, NGOs, and evangelists.
