Bengal CM Suvendu Adhikari Targeted in Alleged JeM Plot
The alleged uncovering of a Pakistan-linked terror conspiracy targeting the Bengal CM Suvendu Adhikari has added a new dimension to an ongoing counter-terrorism investigation in West Bengal. According to the state’s Special Task Force (STF), an alleged operative linked to the Pakistan-based terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) was arrested after investigators uncovered plans involving reconnaissance, encrypted communication, and an alleged attempt to infiltrate a protest in Delhi while dressed in a police uniform. Officials claim the accused was acting under instructions from handlers based across the border.
