This petition seeks to cancel the identity documents of a controversial political-activist spokesperson over alleged foreign lineage.
Indian liberals have long downplayed concerns about murky foreign actors interfering in Indian affairs, despite our history of struggle against colonialism. Such concerns are valid, however, and deserve far more attention in our national discourse.
