Hashtags on Twitter to counter Modi’s #MainBhiChowkidar
A Twitter campaign on Saturday began as a resistance to Modi’s social media campaign of #MainBhiChowkidar. The hashtag #MainBhiBerozgar trended on Twitter, targeting the unemployment situation in the country. The hashtags were backed by statistical data which showed that many graduates are struggling to find jobs and the situation is worse for undergraduates. The unemployment situation is a major cause for concern, however employment generation is not a feat that can be achieved in a short period of time.
