Congress Promises Review Of AFSPA In 2019 Election Manifesto

The Congress, which released its election manifesto on Tuesday, promised to amend the Armed Forces (Special Powers) Act or the AFSPA. Congress added that it will make suitable changes in the text of the laws to balance requirements of security and the protection of human rights.
