Social Media fake news filter to involve nodal officers

The state level bodies of the Election Commission of India are required to appoint nodal officers to supervise the content on social media and filter fake news. Violations would be reviewed by the nodal officers who would escalate the issue if necessary by alerting the specific social media site on further action. Despite the numerous initiatives taken, loopholes in the system are detected and fake news is still circulated.
