Subramanian Swamy wins legal battle against IIT Delhi after 47 years

BJP leader and former professor of Economics at IIT Delhi, Dr. Subramanian Swamy won his legal battle against IIT Delhi after 47 years for being evicted without notice. Swamy’s ideology which did not resonate with then PM, Indira Gandhi led to his eviction along with his wife who was a professor of mathematics in IIT D. The court has directed IIT Delhi to pay dues of around 40 lakhs.
