Farmers in Nizamabad decide to vote for themselves till demands are met

Contesting farmers from Nizamabad Constituency have resolved to vote for themselves instead of the ruling party in order to have their demands met. The farmers have been facing distress due to the dipping prices of turmeric and red jowar. The demand for a Turmeric Board since the 1990’s has not been met which has moved the 178 farmers to contest in the constituency.
