Facebook page with AMU’s name promotes Congress

A page named Aligarh Muslim University uploaded a Facebook post urging people to exercise their democratic right but it carried a picture with the Congress symbol on it. After social media users posted against it, the post was taken down. Later, another Facebook page Aligarh Muslim University News posted that it did not appeal in favor of any political party and that AMU was not responsible for misleading posts that were made in its name or using its logo.
