Mayawati calls PM Modi a ‘fake OBC’ while sharing the stage with Mulayam Singh after 25 years
Mayawati and Mulayam Singh Yadav shared a stage after 25 years ending their bitter rivalry. The BSP chief said that Mulayam Singh Yadav was the true leader of the backward classes while appealing to the people in Mainpuri to vote for the SP leader who is contesting from there. She went on to say that Yadav was a ‘genuine OBC’ while Modi was a ‘fake OBC’. While the Modh Ganchi caste and Yadav caste are listed as OBC’s, the Yadav’s along with the 3 other dominant castes have the highest share of 6% quota which is far above what their population warrants.
