Akhilesh Yadav says he does not know anything about Mayawati exiting the Mahagathbandhan
Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav said that he did not know anything regarding Mayawati’s contemplation of exiting the Mahagathbandhan alliance and fighting the UP by-poll by herself. Mayawati had hinted on ending the alliance earlier as she said BSP would be contesting for the 11 seats in the by bolls as a single party. Akhilesh Yadav said that the party was looking into its internal faults which contributed to their loss. Yadav said that he was currently in Azamgarh to thank the people for their support and Mayawati’s intentions to exit was news to him.
