2008 Ahmedabad Blasts Case: Court Awards Death Sentence to 38 Convicts, Life Imprisonment to 11

A special court on Friday pronounced death sentence to 38 out of 49 convicts in the 2008 Ahmedabad serial bomb blasts case. 11 convicts have been sentenced to life imprisonment. Earlier this month, the court had convicted 49 accused and acquitted 28 others in connection with the case.
