Alliance Reforms Between BJP 2019 And AGP Assam For Lok Sabha Elections
Bharatiya Janata Party or BJP 2019 is allying with Assam Gana Parishad in Assam to contest for their seats in Lok Sabha. Together the alliance will participate for other states in Northeast Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh and Tripura.The decision was taken by the general secretary of BJP on 12th March 2019 in Guwahati discussing the approach in elections.
Citizenship Bill has been a severe issue in Assam that developed differences between the two parties but now the differences emitted and both of them look forward to working together in Assam. NRC is the process of granting the refugees as the identity of citizens in India irrespective of their religion. The NRC will be given to people who entered India’s boundary after midnight on 24th March 1971 not calling for religious discrimination as Citizenship Bill.
