Chief Naveen Patnaik And BJD Party Protests On Low Wages In Delhi
Dharna was arranged by the BJD party of Odisha and the chief Naveen Patnaik in Delhi. The sit-in party was to remind the Modi Government regarding promises that has not been kept by the ruling government.
The minimum support wages of to raise to Rs. 2930, long time request by the BJD party was ignored by the Modi government. Increase of the minimum support wages have been requested for the paddy farmers. The recent MSP for the paddy wages allowed by the Modi government was of Rs. 1750 per quintal that is not acceptable by the farmers of Odisha.
