Congress denies pages being taken down by Facebook
Facebook had claimed to have taken down 687 pages as they were found to be related to an IT Cell of the Congress party. The Congress tweeted on it’s official account refuting the claim and saying that none of its officially verified pages were taken down nor were any associated volunteer pages affected. The Congress has also requested Facebook to provide a list of the pages that have been removed. The common people of the country have no means of knowing whether the pages were operated by the Congress IT Cell as they are presented with opposing sources of information.
