Congress writes to ECI accusing BJP of malpractice on social media
The Chairperson of the Congress Social Media and Digital Communications, Divya Spandana has written to the Election Commission of India stating that the Bharatiya Janata Party is indulging in malpractice by trying to incite and attract voters by offering bribe via social media. She has specifically spoken about the “My First Vote For Modi” Facebook page where voters are being promised free gifts in exchange for their support to BJP. Malpractices are not restricted to any party and they are happening across various platforms initiated by different parties all across the country not only on social media but also in physical campaigns.
