Harish Rawat the incharge of party affairs in Assam, has declared himself to be responsible for the decline of the below par performance of the Congress Party in the Parliamentary polls. After the resignation of the Congress Party Chief Rahul Gandhi, Harish Rawat decided to resign.
He tweeted “”We the office bearers of the Congress are responsible for the party’s defeat and organisational failure. I am responsible for the below-expected result of the party in Assam as in-charge of the state”.
