Tension prevailed in Tiptur on Wednesday (Jun 1) after activists of NSUI, the student wing of Congress, attempted to torch the residence of Primary and Secondary Education Minister BC Nagesh. The activists of NSUI were protesting against the constitution of the textbook revision committee by the BJP government in Karnataka and the changes that it has proposed.
