Kerala Temple’s Iftar Feast ‘Canceled’ After High Court Intervention

A couple of days ago, it was reported that one of the most prominent temples in northern Kerala, the Mridangasaileswari Temple, was planning to host an Iftar on March 26. This was upsetting to many of us—not because non-Hindus were invited into the temple for a feast, but because a non-Hindu festival was going to be celebrated within the temple. While most of us expressed our frustration online, a few dedicated Sanatanis from the Hindu Seva Kendram and the Bajrang Dal in Kerala approached the Kerala High Court against this Iftar feast.
