Kuldeep Sengar expelled from the BJP
BJP MLA Kuldeep Sengar, accused in the Unnao rape case has been expelled from the party. The incident which happened in 2017 came back to the limelight when the girl and her family met with an ‘accident’. The CBI lodged an FIR against Kuldeep Sengar and 30 others acquainted with him terming him an accused in the Unnao Rape case. The BJP has taken immediate action and said that all ties with Sengar will be cut and the party is no longer affiliated with him. While many on Twitter questioned why it look the BJP almost 2 years to expel him, the move is welcome. It is important for the BJP to take action against its deviant members in order to maintain its credibility.
