West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee wrote to the Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Joshi informing him that she will not be taking part in the meeting hosted by PM Modi where he invited the leaders of all political parties to participate. PM Modi has scheduled the meeting with the agenda of discussing the ‘One nation, one election’ initiative. Banerjee said that such an initiative required time and expert consultations before being discussed and implemented. She has not been attending any meetings organised by the Centre thereby showing her bitterness and anger. However, it is important for all state governments to share a cordial relationship with the centre for their own welfare.
