Navjot Singh Sidhu’s wife says he was not invited to a post-poll meeting
Punjab State Local Bodies Minister Navjot Singh Sidhu was not present at a post-poll meeting attended by all important position holders in the Punjab government. The CM’s office had sent invites to all MLA’s but Navjot Singh Sidhu’s wife denied receiving any invitation. She said that Sidhu was deliberately not invited to the meeting. Sidhu had been criticised by the CM Capt Amrinder Singh for the inefficiency of his department. Capt Amrinder had also blamed Sidhu for making ‘damaging remarks’ which was the cause for his loss from Bathinda.
