‘Never Buy A House In Muslim Dominated Area, Unsafe For Women’: Hindu Woman Journalist Reports Harassment And Threats
A Hindu woman journalist, named Amrapali Sharma, has shared several videos on social media alleging harassment and threat to her life from communal Muslims living in her neighbourhood in Malad, Maharashtra. In her video statement, she stated that she is being targeted for her Hindu religious identity and facing an existential threat as well as a threat to her life from local Muslims. According to her, communal people living in the ‘Muslim-dominated area’ have been harassing, threatening, and instigating Hindus to either commit suicide or sell their businesses and houses. She alleged that they have been forcing Hindus to leave this area.
