Pakistan’s approval sought by India regarding Kaman Bridge repair works

India has approached Pakistani authorities to seek their consent for carrying repair works on Kaman Bridge, which connects the divided parts of Kashmir. Indian army is apprehensive that Pakistan forces may fire upon them while carrying the work. Therefore the work on the bridge has not been started so far, as the consent from Pakistan side is still being awaited.
