Sam Pitroda says taxes will go up to fund Rahul Gandhi’s NYAY scheme

In an interview, prominent Congress member Sam Pitroda said that the middle class must not be selfish and prepared to pay more taxes to fund Congress’ minimum income guarantee scheme. Congress appeared to be in damage control mode on Thursday and distanced itself from the remarks of party leader Sam Pitroda that the middle class should bear part of the cost of the party’s flagship Nyay scheme.
