Satya Pal Malik announces that phone connectivity will be restored in phases
Addressing the media, Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satya Pal Malik announced that as normalcy is gradually returning phone connectivity will soon be restored. The connections will first be restored in Kupwara and Handwara districts of Kashmir. Subsequently, connection lines will be fixed in the rest of the districts in phases. Satya Pal Malik also made the important announcement that over 50,000 jobs will be made available in the Jammu and Kashmir administration and he sought the active participation of the youth. Jammu and Kashmir along with Ladakh are set to become official Union Territories on October 31.
