Speaker speaks up on Karnataka’s unclear political crisis
The Karnataka government has been unstable with the Congress- JDS coalition being under threat due to almost 16 MLA’s quitting their parties. As serious as the situation of a government disintegration ought to be, the entire scenario actually became comical with the MLA’s running away to Mumbai and refusing to come back. The Speaker of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly KV Ramesh Kumar expressed his opinion on the entire situation and said that the MLA’s never approached him with their issues before taking other steps. He even questioned why the MLA’s went to the Supreme Court without addressing it to him in the Vidhan Sabha. He has said that he will review the resignation applications and that his decsions will be taken keeping in mind the interests of the people.
