Successful green channel to transport heart in Hyderabad
A live heart was transported in Hyderabad in 22 minutes covering a distance of 29 kilometres with the successful creation of a green channel with the help of the Hyderabad Traffic Police. The heart was transported from Gleneagles Global Hospital to the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport. The efforts of the Traffic Police is commendable. In India, it is not rare to see ambulances stuck in traffic because people try to take advantage of the way being cleared for the ambulance to make their way out. Traffic etiquette and sensibility is something that needs to be developed.
