Supreme Court asks Rahul Gandhi to explain ‘Chowkidar Chor Hai’ remark

Legal trouble seems to be brewing for Congress president Rahul Gandhi, who was on Monday directed by the Supreme Court to explain his ‘chowkidar chor hai’ remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which he attributed to the court. The bench said Gandhi had incorrectly attributed “views, observations and findings” in the Rafale case to the top court. Gandhi has been given till next Monday to come up with his explanation.
