Tejasvi Surya terms Rahul Gandhi’s Yoga Day Tweet distasteful
Congress MP Rahul Gandhi shared a picture of the Yoga Day celebrations of the Army Dog Unit where the dogs are seen performing asanas along with the army officers. He captioned the picture ‘New India’ as a jibe to the BJP’s slogan. This attracted flak from Twitter users and they mocked Rahul Gandhi along with other Congress Party members. The Army Dog Unit’s celebration of the Yoga Day was considered to be one of the highlights and most adorable parts of the celebration. BJP MP Tejasvi Surya was quick to react and said that Rahul Gandhi had insulted the Army, the Dog Unit and the Yogic tradition through his tweet. The youth leaders of both parties seem to be at loggerheads.
