Urmila Matondkar calls Hinduism a violent religion

Urmila Matondkar, actress who joined the Congress and is contesting from North Mumbai said that Hinduism was the most violent religion in an interview with Rajdeep Sardesai. She also said that she joined politics because she opposed religious intolerance and hatred. Her statement however seems to be terming a religion as violent which is not a gesture of peace making.
