World Bank Denies Funding Amravati Sustainable Capital City Development Project
The dream Amravati project of Chandra Babu Naidu hears a Big “No” from the World Bank as sees a drop in the status on the “Amaravati Sustainable Capital City Development Project”.
Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) from Beijing was suppose to provide fund of USD 200 million along with the world bank of USD 300 million. The project was to built near the river Krishna, which can destroy the agricultural lands, forests and hampering the environment.
Allegations was raised by the new government against the removal of corruption. That pointed out at the issue of the Amravati project.
