18,000 WIDOWS INVITED TO SON’S WEDDING BY GUJARATI BUSINESSMAN

Jitendra Patel or Jitubhai, a businessman based in Mehsana, Gujarat invited 18,000 widows to his son’s wedding and bless the new couple. This tremendous act of generosity also breaks social taboos where widows might be considered bad omen. Hundreds of these widows who are from poor families were given a milking cow so that they could lead an independent life.
