AT THE POSH ST. STEPHEN’S COLLEGE: STUDENT & RESEARCH SCHOLAR WAS LOCKED OUT OF HER RESEARCH LAB, THEN STAFF LOCKS HER IN THE LAB
A research scholar who was allegedly molested by a college professor, was subject even more humiliation. She alleged that she was denied payment of her stipend and access to the laboratory. After she and a friend got into lab, she was locked into the lab by the staff and she had to call the police. Earlier this year, Valson Thampu, Principal of St Stephen’s College was dragged to court by a suspended administrative officer of the institution who alleged that he was pressurizing him to convert to Christianity.
