Bihar election is really a fight on development, yes caste too but much less so – so the current more gradual approach (JD(U)-RJD-Congress) to a radical reboot of the NDA. There are over 10 million first-time voters in this election—nearly one in six voters. Todays basic statistics are abysmal. Per the Census 2011 data, Bihar is the most illiterate state in the country, nearly one in two women are illiterate, than 5% of households, and fewer than one in four households have a latrine. The informed voter has to chose what they aspire for?
